The much-acclaimed restaurant at the Sanctuary on Camelback has hands-down the best location in town. The dining room, with floor-to-ceiling windows affords majestic views of the surrounding landscapes, and sunsets are positively awe-inspiring. Element’s cuisine rivals the setting: the new American menu, overseen by chef Beau MacMillan (winner of Iron Chef America) is innovative and beautifully prepared. The friendly wait staff keeps the whole thing from becoming too formal or stuffy. In short, if you only have one meal in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, this should be it.
