Located on the banks of the Katsura river near the famous Arashiyama bamboo grove, Kyoto Kitcho Arashiyama has three Michelin stars, and the family-run establishment is one of the most special venues in Kyoto. The set menu–only restaurant has tatami rooms, is surrounded by a beautiful garden and serves artful kaiseki cuisine. It’s great for a high-end lunch after visiting the bamboo grove or a high-end dinner in a traditional setting.
