Located on the corner of a leafy street in Condesa, this airy restaurant blends perfectly into its surroundings and is the sister restaurant to Rosetta. The restaurant's wooden furniture and copper accents are understated and cool, and the abundance of plants blurs the boundaries between the interior and exterior spaces in that effortless way that only Mexico City really seems to have been able to perfect. The main draw here is, of course, the food. While particularly popular for brunch, no matter what time of day it is, Lardo delivers. Chef Elena Reygadas’s menu draws inspiration from the Mediterranean, with a good mix of pizzas, salads and seafood.
Note: Lardo does not take reservations, so it is best to arrive early.
