Lido Restaurant & Bayside Grill

The Standard Hotel’s restaurant on the water is a lovely spot throughout the day and night, with a low-key and easy-going vibe. The food is fresh and delicious—think tuna tartar and sprouted-grain salad—the chef buys local ingredients himself and creates specials based on what’s fresh. On the weekends the tables are packed at lunchtime with a nice crowd of locals, so reservations are recommended. Funny enough, it is the only place to eat on the water in South Beach. (Kids are not allowed).
