Meza Malonga

Meza Malonga is owned and operated by Chef Dieuveil Malonga, a celebrity chef in Rwanda. Chef Malonga was named a 'Champion of Change' in 2022 by the San Pellegrino World's 50 Best Awards; this award recognizes and celebrates "unsung heroes of the hospitality sector who are driving meaningful action and creating blueprints for a better world". Malonga moved to Germany at 13, returned to his native Congo in his twenties and became passionate about promoting his interpretation of various and diverse African cuisines. At his new restaurant in Kigali, he has refined his concept for Afro-fusion cuisine with the goal to spread the world around Africa's untapped gastronomic potential. Meza Malonga has a tasting menu and uses sustainable and local ingredients. Advance reservations are essential.
