Perry’s

Perry’s is Sun Valley’s go-to shop for overstuffed sandwiches (half of one is usually enough) made with slabs of fresh-baked bread. Among local favorites: the albacore melt and the Hot Hawaiian: chicken salad tossed with pineapple, walnuts, celery and Swiss cheese on pumpernickel. The mini oatmeal and chocolate-chip cookies are perfect sweet treats. You can order everything to go or wait for a booth, but be aware that this small café gets very crowded at midday.
