Since it opened in 2006 as a neighborhood restaurant in Highland Park, Nonna has been considered the best place for Italian food in Dallas by those who really love authentic Italian food. At lunchtime the wood-burning oven turns out delicious pizzas, but at dinner it cooks more refined fare such as slow-roasted lamb shank with autumn vegetable farrotto and white shrimp with pancetta, leeks, petite shitake mushrooms and cheesy polenta. Don’t miss the malted chocolate panna cotta for dessert.
