Corso Vittorio Emanuele II rome
Named for its maitre, Alessandro Pipero, this upscale, one-Michelin-starred eatery occupies a beautiful, two-story space right across from the Chiesa Nuova in the center of Rome. The esteemed restaurant, which was named Pipero El Rex when it occupied a different space until it moved in 2017, offers one of Rome’s finest high-end dining experiences, with great six- and 10-course tasting menus, as well as an à la carte selection that includes crowd-pleasing dishes like rigatoni with broccoli and sausage, veal Milanese and grilled lobster with spring onions.
