Open since 1365, Wierzynek is one of Krakow’s oldest restaurants and its location on the main square in the Old Town makes it ideal for a quick break while sightseeing. The sprawling restaurant has four floors that are beautifully decorated, but the tables to snag are at the sidewalk café, which has a great view of the main square. Although the setting and history are what make Wierzynek special, the menu offers consistent specialties like pierogi, beef tartare and wild boar steak.
