Artisans d’Angkor

Founded in 1992, Artisans d’Angkor is a Cambodian social business and arts and crafts center based in Siem Reap (there is also a boutique in Phnom Penh). The focus is on reviving traditional Khmer craftsmanship—including stone carving, wood carving, lacquering, gilding and silk processing—by providing jobs for people in rural areas. Visitors to the grounds can tour workshops and watch artisans in action, as well as browse the finished products.
