Roman designer Cristina Bomba founded her bespoke tailor shop in 1980, and her tradition of impeccable fit with the finest fabrics is now being carried on as family business. Her daughter is now the designer and her son Michele, the head tailor. The lovely shop, where all orders are custom made and measurements done on site, carries clothes for both men and women. One of our member’s describes it as similar to The Row at a fraction of the cost. There is a classic elegance to the styles à la Jil Sander, where draping and fabrics are the statement—or understatement. “We don’t create for seasons,” explains Michele, “so much as evolve the original collection.”
