Dimitris Kolioussis paints traditional icons in a cavernous, candlelit basement just off Oia’s main pedestrian street. With his long white hair and penetrating gaze, Kolioussis resembles the ethereal saints of his paintings. You can see more of his work in situ in the church of Panagia Episkopi in Oia.
