Gahaya Links

Near the airport, this workshop and warehouse is a treasure trove of elevated Rwandan craft, though it falls on the pricier side. The artisan baskets donning the walls are more conceptual and high design than other shops in the city—Gahaya Links has contracts with brands like Macy’s and Kate Spade. While many shops have typical decorative Rwandan baskets, Gahaya Links has tubular floor baskets that are six feet tall, large lampshades, place mats and purses all with intricate designs. It also has a large collection of beadwork and beaded shields, spears and more. This store sourced many of One&Only’s Gorilla’s Nest interior items.
