In the literary archives market, Glen Horowitz is a true power player: in 2003 he sold the Watergate notebooks of Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein for $5 million (to the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center at the University of Texas). In addition to buying and selling rare manuscripts, Horowitz runs this stylish East Hampton bookshop-cum-contemporary art gallery (as well as one in NYC). Both stores feature books on 20th and 21st century art, literature, photography and pop culture.
