H.N. Jacobsens Bókahandil

H.N. Jacobsens is the best bookstore in the Faroe Islands. Yes, it’s the only bookstore on the Faroe Islands, but it is still a fabulous shop that could hold its own against any other small-town independent bookstores. In the store, which opened in 1865, you’ll find kids’ books and toys in the back, a section on local history in the center and fun odds and ends to the side. Don’t miss stopping for a coffee or hot chocolate from Paname Café next door.
