Magnificent Mile

Chicago’s answer to Fifth Avenue shopping is this strip of Michigan Avenue, where hundreds of blue chip shops sit side by side scattered with ritzy lunch spots. Head here for the expected boutiques like Gucci and Tiffany as well as department stores Saks and Bloomingdale’s. In the past couple of years stores have been closing their presence here but Magnificent Mile, particularly the 900 North building, is still considered the shopping hub of Chicago.
