Located steps from Rialto Bridge, T Fondaco dei Tedeschi is Venice’s premier department store, with four floors and over 700 luxury brands including Gucci, Burberry and Balenciaga. The building is one of the city’s largest structures and its longstanding history dates back to 1228–it has gone from being a trading post for German merchants to a post office under Mussolini. In addition to the high-end brands, there is a great rooftop terrace and fun little café on the first floor to enjoy mid-shopping.
