Located at the gateway of Scotland’s malt whisky trail, The Whisky Castle is the highest whisky shop in the United Kingdom, in the highest village in the Highlands, Tomintoul. The shop sells over 500 malt whiskies (one of the best collections in the U.K.) and is a great spot for a souvenir purchase, as it also sells a variety of high-end “plane size” whisky bottles.
