The Utamaduni Craft Center (Centre) is a fun little stop for shopping in Nairobi, located in the suburb of Langata. This rabbit-hole-like complex is packed with rooms filled with textiles, beadwork, ceramics, wooden figurines, clothing, typical souvenirs and some hidden-gem homewares finds. They accept credit cards, and it is recommended to allow at least 30 minutes to explore all of the center's rooms and stands thoroughly. There is also a modest local restaurant attached to the complex.
