For those fascinated by the Cold War period, it is now possible to visit one of the nuclear bunkers that the Soviets built in the 1950s as a safe house 200 feet below ground underneath a multi-story apartment building. Far from a lavish palace, this industrial complex was intended to become the communication hub for the government in case of nuclear attack. Indagare members can contact our Bookings Team to arrange for a visit, which is by appointment only.
