Overlooking Via del Corso (and moments from the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon), Six Senses Rome is a complete escape in one of Rome’s busiest neighborhoods. The UNESCO-protected historic façade makes for a discreet entrance, blending in seamlessly with the surrounding buildings. Six Senses Rome is elegant and laid-back with a calming color palette of neutrals, pinks and sage (natural materials like wood and stone are incorporated throughout the property). A stay feels intimate with only 96 guest rooms, including double rooms, junior suites and one- and two-bedroom suites. Beds are exceedingly comfortable—apparently designed and selected with sleep science at the forefront. 

Note: Terrace Junior Suites have large balconies with private outdoor space to enjoy an apertivio al fresco after a busy day of historical touring.

Mingle with local Romans at the property’s expansive first-floor indoor-outdoor cafe and bar space, BIVIUM. Here guests can take part in a special wine tasting experience using their room key: one swipe can pour a small sample, a medium-glass or a full-glass of some of the area’s best bottles. NOTOS, the rooftop terrace, has 360-degree views of Rome in a secret-garden-like setting. The cuisine is traditional Italian fare, including pastas, pizzas, fresh seafood and meats. Don’t miss the zucchini flower and grappa-soaked pear pizza (or unlimited complimentary gelato service).  

True to Six Senses, the spa is impressive. There are five treatment rooms, Roman baths and a hammam, steam and sauna rooms, biohacking technology treatments and a solarium relaxation area, plus areas for meditation and a fitness center. Guests can also create their own spa products from fresh herbs at the Alchemy Bar.
