One of the three pilgrimages of Christianity (alongside Jerusalem and Rome), the Camino de Santiago is a network of walking paths leading to the city of Santiago de Compostela, in the northwestern region of Spain known as Galicia. Hundreds of thousands of spiritual seekers have traversed these paths since their foundation—in search of peace, healing and discovery. Today a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a rite of passage for hikers as well as for seekers a journey that leaves no explorer unchanged. Join us for the Indagare take on this legendary experience, traversing the “French route” to conquer over 100 kilometers, or nearly 70 miles through northern Spain. The itinerary includes ample time to savor the unique towns in the countryside—their art, history and cuisine—all with popular Indagare Journey host and best-selling author and Omega Institute co-founder Elizabeth Lesser.

Indagare founder Melissa Biggs Bradley shares eight key learnings from hosting our first Camino journey in 2023—and discover more inspiration in her essay “Walking the Camino: The Way of the Traveler.”

Trip Highlights

Get a closer look at our spring 2023 Indagare Insider Journey along the Camino de Santiago:

  • Walk the historic French route of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, to reach the sacred Spanish city of Santiago de Compostela. The French route will cross through the Galician countryside—following stunning coastal footpaths dotted by cultural curiosities and charming villages. Along the way, expert guides will share their knowledge about the history and importance of this route and provide stamps for your Pilgrim’s Passport certificate—the tradition of the Camino and a true badge of honor for those who walk over 100 kilometers.

  • Enjoy time in nature and opportunities to reflect, set intentions, and share this profound experience—like so many seekers before you—with fellow travelers who share your interests and local friends made on the trails.

  • Walk the Camino de Santiago, the Indagare way—with support from author and spiritual coach Elizabeth Lesser, local guides and private car transport on the ground, whenever you need it, from start to finish. Elizabeth will hold morning guided meditation to set the tone for each day.

Please note that elements of the itinerary may change.
