White Rabbit, an opulent yet playful restaurant vaults centuries’ old recipes and ingredients into the 21st Century. With its location under a glass dome on the 16th floor of Smolenskiy Passage, the views from the restaurant look over all of Moscow on a clear day. White Rabbit is on the World’s 50 Best List and the chef, Vladimir Mukhin, was featured on Chef’s Table Season 3 making it a bucket-list table for many travelers. Though this restaurant has become touristy due to its reputation, it is an excellent, creative, and fun experiential dining experience. The décor is Alice & Wonderland themed and many dishes are served in whimsical vessels. Chef Vladimir serves a modern, innovative take on Russian cuisine. The restaurant has an a la carte menu and a tasting menu, which lasts four hours. Diners can enjoy dishes like crab with carrots, caviar and salted egg yolk, along with swan liver pâté with torched marshmallow. The menu is not for a picky eater so would be challenging for families with young children, however, the young at heart will appreciate the restaurants decor. Advance reservation is required here.
