This Roman hat maker has been supplying stylish headpieces for almost a hundred years. The current owner, designer Patrizia Fabri, bought the company from the Cirri family in 2003 and has expanded its footprint (this is its second shop, near the Hotel de Russie, and there is one in Milan) and she has also expanded its collection. All hats, whether they are top hats or  felt fedoras for men or beguiling straw confections or fascinators for women are made by hand. And for true hat lovers, it is worth making a visit to the original workshop and store in Prati on Via degli Scipioni, where you can still see the hat molds and artisans at work.
