The Haute Savoie region has a great culinary tradition, and its residents and visitors were eating farm-to-table long before it became an urban trend. There are about 50 farms in the village of Megève alone, and most meals in the area feature locally sourced cheese, meat, fish and produce. There are three Michelin-starred restaurants in town and even casual eateries heighten any perceptions of mere café or bistro fare.
