Within the United States

Below is a breakdown of existing requirements in our most-booked states.

States that allow testing instead of quarantining

These states let out-of-state arrivals avoid mandatory quarantines if they provide proof of negative COVID-19 test results from within a certain period before their trip, or take a test upon arrival and self-isolate until the results come in.

  • Hawaii: Unvaccinated travelers must show proof of a negative PCR test result from one of the state's pre-approved list of testing providers before entering Hawaii to avoid a 10-day quarantine. Travelers who received their full vaccinations from within the U.S. are exempt. Once 70 percent of Hawaiians are vaccinated, the state is expected to lift all restrictions.  Note: there are no longer any inter-island restrictions. See state regulations
States without entry requirementsWhile these states are not enforcing quarantines, they are still urging travelers to be cautious, and to get tested prior to travel or impose their own self-isolation periods.Contact Indagare or your Trip Designer for more information on coronavirus travel safety, including the destinations that are open to travel, new COVID-19 hotel policies, the safest routes or transportation options available, future trip-planning advice, inspiration and ideas.UPDATED SEPTEMBER 13, 2021
